Are you looking for an outdoor space to entertain? Are you looking for a better way to utilize your outdoor space? Are you wanting to update your lanai?
It can be time consuming and overwhelming to redo your outdoor space. It's difficult to know how best to utilize the space for your needs and wants. It's also hard to know what types of products you can and should use in Southwest Florida. No one wants to spend money on products that won't last.
We are a family owned business, that plans on passing Storia along one day to one of our own children. We receive the majority of our sales through referrals, which means we care (a lot!) about what you think and your experience. We’ll do our best during the process, and if you ever need anything in the future, we will be here to assist.
We always guarantee our work for a lifetime. We don’t want you to stress about not getting the right quality of material or installation. In fact, if we see something wrong with the material you’ve chosen, we will let you know so you can make an educated decision about using it. We really try to make your experience an enjoyable one.
Q: What’s the best type of countertop to use for kitchens or vanities?
For a kitchen, quartz or granite is best. It’s heat resistant, stain resistant, and scratch resistant. For vanities, you can also utilize marble. Marble is more porous, so it’s best used in places that it’s less likely to get scratched or stained.
Q: What’s the best priced countertops?
A: Granite & Marble start at a lower price point than quartz. Quartz is man-made, so the cost is automatically higher.
Q: What’s the new trend in countertops?
A: We’re seeing clean lines, grays, taupes, light and bright! We’re also seeing the introduction of blue tones throughout the house.
Q: How do I maintain the different types of countertops?
A: Granite & Marble needs to be sealed every 6-12 months. It’s very easy. You can purchase any sealer from a home store and follow the directions. You wipe the sealer on your countertops, let it sit for the given time, and wipe off. The process usually takes around an hour, but there’s little work involved. Otherwise, soap and water are granite and marbles best friend! Granite & marble cleaners are also safe to use. Quartz doesn’t have to be sealed. Each quartz manufacturer will provide instructions on how to maintain their product.
Q: What type of countertop is best for my lifestyle?
A:If you have kids, grandkids, or rent your house out, marble is usually not best. If you like the look of marble, but want it for your kitchen, then quartz is the best option. If it’s for an outdoor application, then there are some new quartz-like products that can be used outside; otherwise, stay with granite.
